Re: Pakistan’s image in the Muslim world
This is not a mere insecurity. This is a real issue. For example, how is a non-muslim supposed to feel any love for the country that despises their existence? How and why should I pledge my allegiance to the country that would rather hang me for being who I am: an apostate. This is one example. I would imagine a million people having similar issues.

^ Please don’t say a word against Pakistan you run the risk of being labeled a heretic ABCD ![]()
Let’s just say, the people whose asses we kiss and try to be like see us in a significantly more negative view compared to those who we don’t kiss up to.
Saudis and other gulf Arabs plus faghans vs Egyptians, Turks, Indonesians, other Africans and even Iranians.
Re: Pakistan’s image in the Muslim world
That was one aspect of my thread on Why some Pakistanis living in Pakistan speak English or dress like English so much.
I don’t think they get extra points or respected for doing that in English world community either.
Re: Pakistan’s image in the Muslim world

I just understood the post. After 2 days. Couldn’t stop laughing.
Re: Pakistan’s image in the Muslim world
I have to say that unfortunately the Arabs think they are the most supreme of all Muslims and no one can understand and know Islam better than them. Sadly though, they are wrong :). I think whatever sanity is left in Islam has been preserved by the madressehs and Islamic establishments back in Pakistan and some parts of India where there are still the Muftis and leadership that have authentic lineage to establish credibility.
So I don’t really care what anyone thinks. Maybe Pakistan isn’t the “fortress” of Islam but I think there are humbler Muslims and more humane ones living there.
Now, how do other Muslim nations see Pakistan for other purposes such as tourism or living or industrialization, etc… I don’t really know that too well so I don’t have any comments.
Ladies, any ethnicity. Must be hot.
Re: Pakistan’s image in the Muslim world
We don’t really have to care how someone else view us … what matters most is how we view ourselves ??? … and yea its true we HATE each other

Re: Pakistan’s image in the Muslim world
I have been to quiet a countries Muslims & non-Muslims. Even though I am born American but always introduce myself as Pakistani. Nearly 95% of time the non-Muslims attitude is fine with simple “aw, that’s far away” or “hey, you are my first Pakistani”.
nearly every second scandinavian knows more about northern areas then a typical Pakistani and they have only good stuff too talk about their landing in Lahore/ISB & travel.
in my last year trip to Southern Spain, I and wife were shocked to receive such warm welcome and free sweets wherever told where we are from.
as I have lived & studied in US for many years I came to know many cases of Pakistani women ashamed of their brown skin and else and never let go a single occasion to blame Pakistan & it’s society for all the problems they face from PMS to else.
in the end, being Pakistani still ring the bell in many places.
