Pakistan has had a few Female first in the past couple of years... We also had some women who were being trained as security on board PIA flights as I recall..

considering how "laraki" our paki girls are - i think it's a great strategic move by PAF.
Now all we have to do is to coincide any war with India with the "bad" time of the month for our PAF ladies...they'll be cranky already..let them unleash it on our neighbor..

Hi Fatima,
Yes, Pafgirl is right, do find out where the PAF selection centre in yoiur sity is and visit them, they'll provide you with all the info reqd based on your educational and professional background and tell you which branch/es you could be eligible for.
You cant join tne GDp as it's not selecting girls at the moment. same for the CAE.
You can however apply in the medical branch aftre youve completed your pharamcy degree. you could join in the education wing as well i think.

the news is not very much confirmed but its heard that PAF is again recruiting girls in gdp most prob in 123rd gdp...pls be on a look out in the newspapers for the ad all those who wana apply

Btw, what is this class? does that mean they will fly transport (like india) / CAP? / air defence or go offensive deep strike missions (if and when pakistan has a platform able to challenge IAF) which should be unlikely considering a war wouldn’t happen that easily considering the nukes are involved.

Nah I think the F16s are more useful like for nuke delivery (but then 85% of it is due to PAF love affair with the sanctioned a/c!

I wanted to be sponsered by the raf - just through uni, to continue with them was optional - as they want more layyydies etc etc - long story, but apparantly, women in the UK arent allowed to take out the big fighter planes either, and no way in hell am I going through all that rubbish to qualify to fly commericial. There is inequality in the armed forces everywhere - I understand about armed combat, but why not flying planes?

F-6 Farmers …not F-16s
these old warhorses can be used for ramming attacks against IAF’s Bahadurs and jaguars in mid-air at low altitude.Pakistan dosent have a lot of SAMs so that is the only “smart” weapon we could deploy
