My Team
1. Shahzaib Hassan
2. Khalid Latif
3. Shahid Afridi
4. Umar Akmal
5. Misbah-Ul-Haq
6. Kamran Akmal
7. Mohammad Hafeez
8. Abdul Razzaq
9. Mohammad Aamer
10. Gul\Asif
11. Saeed Ajmal
We have a great Team hopefully we can defend our title
I w'd go along with this team
Fawad Alam is a much hyped and over-rated cricketer (cf. Yasir Arafat) IMO
Re: Pakistan's Final 11 for the T20 World Cup Matches
^^ I like this team but I would play Fawad for Gul. Gul is injured and out of form. We'll have 6 bowlers even without Gul. And I rather see Shahzaib open the innings with Hafeez or Akmal.
The batting looks extremely fragile. We need at least one solid anchor within our top-five.

With yousuf's retirement, do we have one in ANY form of game? :)
Don't think we should have 4 specialist bowlers along with Afridi, Razaaq and Hafeez. We cant afford this luxury especially in a T20 game.
They will probably have to decide between Asif and Gul. Asif's performance in the death overs is always mediocre at best. 6 months ago Gul would have been an automatic choice but his past performance might make it difficult now. We will have to wait and see. But again, one thing is for sure and that is we should not go with a team with Aamer, Asif, Gul and Ajmal. Even during the last world cup we had 3 specialist bowlers.
best team so far :k:
I would switch akmal and shahzaib in the batting order

Agreed, it will be a toss up between Gul and Fawad.

yes thought about it quite a lot and Gul/Fawad anyone of them.
No matter what combinations you try, the batting just does not look good enough. It does not fill me with huge confidence
Infact looking at the batting, I think we would struggle chasing anything around 140 against top teams
Batting first we might have a chance if we score 160+
But when was batting ever Pakistan's strongest point?
If we are looking for stability at the top of the order, I w'd rather open the innings with Kamran Akmal and Hafeez than Butt
Playing both Salman Butt and Fawad Alam in the same team is suicidal IMO

Couldnt agree more. Butt should not be part of any T20 outfit, not even the mohalla T/20 team.
Re: Pakistan's Final 11 for the T20 World Cup Matches
With Shahzaib not selected I would go for Fawad Alam.
Re: Pakistan's Final 11 for the T20 World Cup Matches
sources saying Abdul rehman has been selected not irfan
Re: Pakistan’s Final 11 for the T20 World Cup Matches
^ Why would they select another spinner when we already have Ajmal? ![]()
