just remember all these things you hear about the big bang, evolution and everything are ALL THEORIES.

just a few years ago, a human like fosil turned up in the indonesia/asia pacific region which actually threw the monkeys to human theory in disarray.

even if you go with these theories, just remember Allah ajjawazal created the mass and gas for the big bang to happen

evangelical athiests are so annoying. as is this misleading assertion that religion is responsible for war etc. if you're going to credit religion for the killing, then credit religion for science too. most scientists and philosophers historically, particularly in the western and Islamic world, have been religious, often explicitly motivated by religion in their quest to understand the world in order to understand its Creator.

actually it is also hypocritical considering the bloodiest century in human record was the 20th and to my knowledge religion was rarely if ever used to justify any of the wars fought

Universe starting from the big bang, laws of gravity and thermodynamics explaining fusion-fission reactions, how the universe was a imperfect big soup of gases and matter, how these gases and matter formed a galaxy , creating super novas and black holes, and how our galaxy… whose millionth part was formed as our solar system “Earth”, and how earth evolved from a big ball of dust to a living planet, from bacteria to the most intelligent life over four billion years, through evolution is beautifully explained through science and physics.

Then someone comes along and tells me that 1500 years ago (a minuscule time from 4 billion years of evolution) A man wrote a book which was compiled 200 years after his death, and he says to throw all the ideas of science and physics in garbage and believe me as I will quote you stories with out any proof, reason or justification that this is how everything happened. “Earth being created in 7 days and 7 nights” Adam was the first man on earth and some sort of divine intervention now a days called “magic” made every thing possible .

I have to be barking mad to believe him. If I do, and my coming generations do also, than a problem like Pakistan will arise .A country who has taken religion so fanatically, literally, and technically (unlike the west who have evolved) that they would not know if their prophet is the tooth fairy, a gnome or a unicorn. If he said It, “it” must be right.
Many of you will argue that the Quran did not say it, or the sunnah does not approve, or the bible does not validate it, or the torah does not legalize it, but basically all of you are up to the same tricks

Authenticating life through Bronze Age stories and myths and totally refuting science is not a logical solution to this menace of religion.

All the ass old laws and beliefs that religious scholars and believers bring along is “OK” till the time these legends, myths, and hear-say stories do not make people suffer and kill, but once “Killing in the Name of Religion” begins then people like me have to stand up and say **Stop!!! **

On some of the replies on this thread.... if X is bad.. and Y and Z are bad too.. that doesn't make X good.. X is causing more damage than Y and Z.. saying "hey hey.. getting rid of X wont solve all ur problems" is not a valid defense for X..

oh yeah and dont get too upset about cafe approach, that just shows people are braching out from cafe and in here. coach em, guide em, make them think, dont just push them away. They may know more than you give them credit for.

Back when I actually cared about what I posted on this website 4 of my friends were moderators (Around 8 years ago). So in typical Pakistani fashion they would tell me all that was going on the mod forums.

The amount of drama the mod forum has is amazing. But since then it is pretty easy to tell who has whose blessing. GS is run like the PPP runs the Pakistani government.
