Sulman Ahmed- who doesn’t know him. Plays for Junoon
Aamir Zaki- works solo. Has worked with Vitalsigns, hadiqa Kiani, J.J and bunch of others
Bilal Maqsood- Anwar Maqsood’s son. Plays for Strings which was formed in '91.
Feraz Anwar- Plays for Mizrab and Dusk. Also worked with bunch of others, including Vitalsigns and JJ
Asad Ahmed- Plays for Karavan (ex-awaz) worked with vitalsings including their new albuM)
Xulfi- Entity Paradigm’s guitarists. Entity and Paradigm were two different bands which when combined together became eP. I don’t know if Xulfi is a member of Entity or Paradigm but he’s now the guitarists of eP.
Shallum Xavior- plays for Fuzon. download Fuzon’s Aankhon Kay Saagar and Aakhian from Zaavia.com if you want to see him in action.
Mekaal Hasan- MHB also worked with a lot of people including Noori on their Hum Bholay and Jal’s Aadat ( i think he only played bass there)
Nabeel- Plays for Aaroh. The band which won pepsi’s Battle of the Bands last year.
Tim Ali- I forgot which group he plays for.
out of these who’s your favorite. Personally I think no one beats Xulfi, Xavior, Aamir Zaki and Bilal Maqsood but then again everyone listed here is a maestro.
Salman for overall work, composition and being pioneer in Pak.
Bilal Maqsood and Asad Ahmed for their wildness.
Rizwan (champoo) didjust one album and that is self-explanatory. VS2. Who can forget his work in Tere Liye, Nazar, Bazaar, Paas Rehna and Naraaz. He did the best album of the history of pop in Pakistan.
Xaviar and Xulfi for their uniqness.
Having said that Aamir Zaki is one of the top three guitarist in Pakistan, but he has some limitations. He is a good composer too, but as far as real heavy stuff and wildness is concern, his mind doesn't touch that level. But he is good in soft rock and metal, and no one comes near to him in auquistics.
Ali Tim and Gulzar are lame asses of B-class copycat karachi pop. They best suite to Ali Haider's easy stuff.
Are we talking about "best" in terms of technical proficiency? If so, then people like Salman Ahmed and others should not even be on the list. Faraz Anwar, and Adnan Afaq are probably the only 2 worth mentioning. My vote goes to Faraz Anwar, a true virtuoso!
^
that's your openion only. Faraz Anwar, yes there is defiantly no one like him but to say Aamir Zaki and Xavior etc should not be on the list is utterly stubborn as well.

It all depends on what you mean by "best". Best in what? Technical proficiency or songwriting? Guys like Salman Ahmed are not very technically proficient, but they can write songs fairly well and can play with feeling. Personally, I judge guitar players by their technical abilities first, and then their songwriting and emotional aspects of playing afterwards.
Technical proficiency of course comes first when assessing best guitarists but song writing is another aspect this has to be considered. So i'm taking all of these aspects in consideration when I say best guitarists.
But even IF this post was about best guitarists in terms of technical profeciency, guitarists like Aamir Zaki, Salman Ahmed, Xulfi, Shallum and the rest must be mentioned.
