I have recently noticed on cricinfo now they have started to use the word Pakistanis instead of Pakistan on scoreboards. For instance if you look at the current tour of England schedule by clicking here, the matches that has been already played are labeled as Pakistanis v England or Pakistanis v Scotland. But the ones yet to be played are labeled as Pakistan v England.
As far as I remember it has been always Pakistan instead of Pakistanis. I am just curious why the change and whats the reason behind. Any one knows anything about this?

Actually same was the case last year on 'cricinfo' and I sent an email pointing out this difference and I got the reply stating what the Captain has stated aboove.
Since so many notice this difference now it should not be accepted as 'normal'
we do need an official clarification to the media on this that this is not correct in any sence of our national language urdu nor correct fusion of urdu-english either.
Some one please explain further if I'm correct in saying so,,,, :)
