Just curious…are you allowed to vote even though you don’t live in Pakistan?

(ofcoz this is for the ones that still hold citizenship of Pakistan)

I know that a few countries you can go to the embassy of your country and cast your vote…is it the same in Pakistan…or you have to be physically be in Pakistan to vote?

My mom was telling me in our village.

Ladies first go to give vote with their own nic’s then they go back home wear Abaya+ nakab takes Nic of their marhooma nani dadi and they go again to give vote :omg: :omg: :omg:

YES, overseas Pakistanis can VOTE as long as they have dual citizenship!

Overseas Pakistanis were not allowed to vote till the previous elections, in the coming elections they will be allowed to vote maybe through postal ballot, but they will need to have National Identity card for Overseas Pakistanis, the details are being worked out.

KKF app inka sawal samjhe nahi..she meant ke agar aap bahar reh rahe ho and wohi se vote kar sakte ho ya nahi.

overseas Pakistanis are going to play a major role in upcoming elections.

but does one needs both, like CNIC and NICOP?

I think only NICOP would be required for overseas ones.

I dont know, I read somwhere, that you need both which got me confused,

as long one is registered and has valid NICOP, it should be good enough!
