Well I am waiting for that one as well. I hope and pray that they do that against India. It is a very well known fact now that when Australians are given a taste of their own medicine they lose their confidence very fast.

As far as Yuvi's comment goes - I dont think he said (or atleast he meant )and it's just a tabloid looking for some attention. And If he did say that, then it is a childish and ignorant comment. He should apologize.

Things like Aussie loose composure once they r on backfoot is a known fact to all cricket nations around the globe ...... but it'll be a hell of an achievement for India to get Aussie in that position during their tour down-under ..... nevertheless i hope/wish the best to/for India as i would like to see someone to kick Aussie a$$ in their very own backyard

Never say never ..... Umair last year i've seen Aussie conceeding a score beyond 300 to SL at SCG and AUS went to get defeated highly in that match ...... even though it happend only one in that VB-Series it showed that it's possible and ppl like De Silva made Lee look like a schoolboy once he did hit him for a huge SIX over Mid Wicket off his legs ... actaully the ball was reverse swinging and this very ball was meant as yorker !!!!

Umair we've a proverb in german "die kochen auch nur mit wasser" translation would be as follows "they also only cook with water" means they r the same as u and me and thusfar very much beatable ...... I hope this is done by an Asian nation regardless its India, Pakistan, SL, or even BD ..... beside that i would like to see them punished by Lara himself on Aussie soil

That can happen Umair!!!! Tendulkar!!!! he can make any thing happen....and i think the greater player he is...when he is going to have time on his hand(Unlike in an ODI) where he could just bat and bat with his Unbelievable defence...and perfection with his strokes...he can get aussie in uncomfortable position...

Given a choice i would ruther watch Sachin bat against Australia...than watching Youhana and Hameed kicking NZ A$$ later this season.

Ok let the kid be pessimistic and let urself be more realistic as Pak will need more than two batsmen to redeem Pride

Hope is one thing, but when you are talking about playing the Aussies and that too in their backyard, it is pretty much hopeless.
You need 5 Tendulkars to match the Aussie batsmen, and you need 5 Wasims to match their bowling, as of now, no team can ever come close.
In just one day match, anyone has a chance of beating the Aussies but beating them in all 5 days is an impossible task, atleast for the next 10 years.
Players like Tendulkar thrive on flat pitches, but in places like Perth, no outsider batsman can win/

Sachin is one batsman, who is going to bat @ the other hand.
In the current Indian team, only 1 man can counter the Aussie bowlers, and his name is Rahul Dravid.
He is the best batmsan in the team.

I can not believe it man!!! u said that "Players like Tendulkar thrive on flat pitches" and then u r saying that Rahul Drivd has best chance in Aus.i have the almost same opinion about dravid.

U surely did not watch India's tour of Aus in 99-2000. when Aus Attack did not even have Bichel and Gillispie. so u dont know how much trouble ur Best batsman is going to have on those pitches...

As we all know there will be no 5 tendi's or Wasim's on this planet ..... It took only a Stephen Fleming, Cairns + Harris to beat in 3 out of 4 ODI in a short term and beat them nearly in the tests ..... as for Perth or call it the WACA-Pitch ..... for someone who playes his 1st class cricket there u can't compare him with someone who play it once in bluemoon (a touring batman) ..... i also would bet my money on dravid than Tendi but then it's a team game and let's see how far they (india) come ..... for sure they'll in bitter need of some quality pace-bowler for that kind of pitches ......

BTW India is not playing any Test on the WACA-Pitch !!!!

Surely you do not beleive that statement yourself, and if you do, well ................

Collectively they are a very good team and the best around. On an individual basis they do NOT have a batsmen of the calibre of Sachin nor a bowler of the calibre of Wasim. No way.

Hayden might have scored 380 runs but he is no Sachin, not by a long way and I don't think he ever will come up to that standard.

Similarly none of their current bowlers come close to the legendary Wasim.

Having an individual talented player like Wasim and Sachin is one thing, but being a member of the Aussie team as another thing.
Every bowler, batsman, wicket keeper in that team is world class, even the likes of Hussey, Hodge, Katich (who can't make it to the starting 11) will be the star players in any of the other 10 test playing nation teams.

I believe players like Steve Waugh, Matthew Hayden, Ricky Ponting are in the same class as Sachin or lesser in quality.
Sure these guys don't play as attractive shots or are not well behaved and are not crowd pullers like Sachin but they have the ability to play dominant cricket anywhere.
They can go into any country, and dominate and make the local team like bunch of novices.
Sachin plays 65% of his matches in the subcontinent mostly @ home in India while these guys play matches all around the world with performances equal to Sachins batting @ home.
I only saw Hayden's inning of 380 in highlights but scoring 100+ in WACA is a hard task against any side.
You do not need a Sachin Tendulkar to have a record like the Aussies but you need couple players of the calibre of Tendulkar and Wasim to match Aus.

My dear Umair...for ur info...Sachin hit a hundred for the very first test he played at WACA when he was aged 18.He did not even have the reputation of being the world's best then. Also his record against Australia in tests is worth checking out.His performances in Australia are also mind blowing in tests. In India's last tour to Australia(99-00 season)...he was the man of the series down under and that after being dismissed 4 out of 6 times controversially after being not out...and this was proved by T.V. replays.

Once again need I mention, whats the matter of avereging 50+ against Aus when you can win a single test against Aus in Aus.
Thats why I said, it is going to take 5 batsman with the calibre of Sachin to beat Aus in Aus.
And no I am not talking about drawin, the main reason why New Zealand drew the series with Aus was because most of the series was washed out, and one test was brilliantly saved by Cairns and co.
