… The involvement of Pakistanis in the attack in Sharm el-Sheik would be unprecedented, as non-Egyptians rarely have been linked to attacks here. It also would be extremely difficult for a group of young Pakistanis not to be noticed in Sharm, one of the heaviest policed cities in Egypt and a favorite place of residence for President Hosni Mubarak.

The revelation that Babar is linked to the July 7 London attacks, which killed at least 56 including the four suicide bombers, is only the latest connection to emerge between the grandson of Pakistani immigrants and al Qaeda.
In addition to his connection to the London bombers, Babar has admitted in court proceedings to supplying bomb-making materials to a Pakistani cell in the United Kingdom that had plotted to blow up restaurants, pubs and train stations there. **(When the cell was broken up in 2004, British authorities discovered more than 1,000 pounds of ammonium nitrate fertilizer, **the same material used in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.) Furthermore, Babar said in federal court in Manhattan during a plea hearing last summer that he spent much of 2003 and early 2004 in the Waziristan province of Pakistan, supplying money and materials – including night-vision goggles, sleeping bags and other items – to “a high-ranking al Qaeda official” for use in the fight against U.S. and Northern Alliance forces across the border in Afghanistan. He also admitted to setting up a jihad training camp in the region, a court transcript shows.

The British police are clearly wasting their time shooting Brazilians in Londonistan then. It’s clear they should be in Pakistan. Just think of the advantages…if you shoot a brown man in Pakistan he’s far less likely to turn out to be from South America…

While you guys rant, you are clearly out of step with the actual risk. Where are the four (or five) bombers? Probably not at Euro Disney. They are being sheltered and hidden by like minded Britons. The longer they are sheltered by the radical community the more Britons will lose faith in their Muslim communities sad sighs. God forbid another bomb goes off. The death of this poor young man will look very small in comparison.

May be all Pakistanis should be put in concentration camps as you are clearly out of step with the actual risk, who knows which Pakistani is upto what… oh waita sec, some Egyptians and Saudis have been involved in other bombings so put them in the camps, they’ll get along with each other there… wait wait, they all are doing in name of Islam, whoever goes to Pakistan for few months and visits “Madrassahs” is a real potential suicide bomber and the common ground to all of them is Islam, lets put Quran in a closed shelve for few centuries until them Moslems realize what they have done unto themselves

You guys are so deep into Desi-Think that you are not listening to the Majority who still counts for a lot. Britain is at the same point as the US was one month after 9/11, deep distrust, and not without reason. If the bombers would wear uniforms and identify themsleves things would be fine. But when you are betrayed by your neighbors, it is un-nerving.

We have threads open implying the Jamaican guy disproves it is Pakistani/Muslim problem.
We have threads open questioning whether the bomb damage disproves the police.
We have 20 times as many replies as to why the police killed one man as why 58 were killed in the bombing.
Denial denial denial. The majority is not asking these questions, or trying to avoid association with these events. Then John Major starts talking deportation! Even Ashcroft wasn't that harsh.... Soon Guppies will react with shock and suprise when visas get rovoked and raids to capture those overstaying their visas start happening. Golly how suprising. The Muslim community in Britain needs to find these guys and turn them in if they are truely the "majority".
