Pakistani Women and Respect

Do you really get the sense Pakistani women are respected?

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

Sadly, not as much as they should be by desi men. I find other nationalities respect them more.

Edit: Just to be clear I'm talking about the atrocities commited against them in Pakistan.

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

They're expected to stay put at home and a lot of men don't respect them when they're outside.

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

by what standard?
In Asia its pretty normal for the woman to be second class... even if times are changing there is still a hint of it.

anyway if you're hoping for a gender war save it. women are a lot harsher to their own than men are to women.

Probably not, but while we’re generalising they probably don’t deserve it, Pakistan to dunday wali kaum hai

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

What? Danday wali kaum? Pehla danda tumhe parhna chahiye phir.

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

What on earth are you on about?

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

I should use the multiple quote button
the second line was at the OP

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

Acceptably? yes.

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

You think Pakistan is the only country with these issues?

Anyway nevermind Pakistan the whole world has Women treated badly, it does not mean its right but why point at one case why not all women get thier rights and we fight not just for our womens rights but all women who are suffering.

The way I see it Women do a lot more tasks in this Wicked World than men. They go through a lot more than we men and they are genrally much more fragile both physically and mentally than us blokes. Its nots just a sweeping generalisation its a scientific fact.

Now if the majority of labour in this world is done by women why shouldn't they be respected. Besides before some blokes get up and start trolling put it this way I have gone through a lot of tough things in this World but gutting your way through a battle or suffering a few slashes from razor wire, or even a bullet to the back has nothing like the pain involved in ChildBirth that Women go through.

Besides most of us Men are selfish deep down, especially when it comes to childcare and things like that. There are some exceptions but still, I could never match the courage of women like my mother (She had to put up with a freak like me) so we should respect women and yes the Koran and Sunnah do lay out these things in detail.

Up to a point Men should definately do more, but Women should not just try and take advantage of this situation either, they need to work with thier men to achieve the balance rather than go the Femi Nazi way.

At least thats my take on the matter.

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

I've heard that phrase many times from Pakistani people.

Do they listen to the military more or the government?

Noone breaks laws in Cantonment areas.

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

Does it matter? Why should the milltary be any different to the government. The way I see it Politicians should be fighters too, that way they would think twice about declaring any pointless wars. If Politicians who ordered attacks were forced to lead such ventures then there might be some good in the system yet. At least it gives the others a fighting chance but hey cruel world.

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

If you asked them “please don’t do that, it’s illegal” this will be the reaction

Have someone there with a rifle and big stick and it’s another story.

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

What if the person asking those questions was the same guy. Except he was kind one minute and furious the next?

I dont believe in finding leaders who lead the people... I believe the true leader will hack and slash his way to the top if neccassary and once there will have the sense to do good. If he is just a bloodthirsty beast then he will be quick to error and so fall and some other will rise... that should be the true nature of leadership.

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

Good points. Anyhoo, back to the topic - are pakistani women truly respected?

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

Not as much as they should be but then the Media and Society in general should change the attitudes so that simple people can fall in line.

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

I've never believed that a lack of leader descends a society into craziness. Belgium didn't have a government for over a year!

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

A single leader or a confederacy either way it requires some form of steering. A country that really was completely free from any Government and that was not being bombed by the Jealous world would be the first place I would flee too and disapear. Total freedom, who's gonna say no to that?

Re: Pakistani Women and Respect

why american women don't worry got anything else to do other than worry about pakistani women??
