Pakistani wedding and foreign influence

Having no cake is most affordable. Pakistani shadis were previously heavily borrowed with Hindu tradition. Now its a mix of Hindu and Western borrowed rituals. When affordability is an issue in a Muslim wedding, this is my humble advice and reminder.

Other than that, I don’t know any “affordable” vendor. sorry.

Pakistani wedding and foreign influence

Pakistani weddings are refined version of Indian wedding. Traditional Indian weddings are week long events in contrast to that Pakistani weddings are mostly comprise on Mayon, Mehndi, Nikkah and Rukhsati, and Valima.

Pakistanis who live abroad are adopting local traditions of other cultures such as cake cutting ceremony. What are others customs you observed in Pakistani weddings? Do you like them?
