The spot fixing saga had an unlikely victim as the ICC took the surprising decision of throwing out an umpire on the basis of investigations that are still in progress.
I think the ICC has jumped the gun on this occasion.

Currently the decision is based on the investigation that is being conducted in the spot fixing allegations. No evidence has been made public as such though.
