WASHINGTON: The US aid chief said Friday he faced a threat when visiting a relief camp in flood-hit Pakistan but pledged that extremists would not deter assistance.
Rajiv Shah, administrator of the US Agency for International Development, said he quickly exited the camp he was touring the southern city of Sukkur on Wednesday at the urging of his security guards.
“Within a few minutes of being there, our Diplomatic Security detail informed me that there were some suspicious individuals in the area and we needed to leave. So we tried to make as graceful and appropriate an exit as possible,” Shah told reporters after returning to Washington.

I think you guys need to go beyond this condemnation stuff now. you need to come up with a policy which bans people from openly supporting or being sympathetic towards terrorists like the Taliban.

Guys, do all the criticism you want, but can you do that without dragging in and insulting Shaa'ir-e-Islam, that is, beard, among many others? Whenever there is thread about TTP, i see many members doing this, call them gay, monkeys and whatever, but why always attach this with beard?
These people have nothing to do with Islam, why defame a mere symbol of Islamic teachings because of a bunch of losers who do not really practice islam? This is nothing but exactly what our enemies want, and that is, defame our deen all they can, and by doing this, you are only helping our own enemies.

It was to separate islam and beard as islamic teaching (as per many muslims) from these criminals.
