Pakistani Taliban claims NYC car bomb

its simple. nobody is forcing you to live in the concentration camp. leave if you dont like it.

You said that about Pakistanies living in the West, presumably you were talking about the consequences on such people. If you're willing to accept shyt in the manner that you appear to be you deserve it.

I didn't say anywhere explicitly that he is from Fata, just said "some losers from"
Either the Fata mention was irrelevant or wrong. Previously too you guys were talking about bombing Waziristan, while blithely ignoring the fact that he wasnt from there.
all in all, i am happy in this concentration camp, and hopefully you are too ~!
Great. Dont blame Faisal Shehzad then.

Its about time you guys stopped responding to every bombing as if every concievable 'reaction' was justified.

What the heck are you talking about? ARe you high on something?

Pakistan is my country. Where do you want me to go from here?

Are you than unaware?

Re: Pakistani Taliban claims NYC car bomb

go back and read the post you quoted and to which I am responding to. you'll understand. the poster was talking about consequences to people living in the West, such as concentration camps.

Re: Pakistani Taliban claims NYC car bomb

one of the unwritten rules: pakistanis are not allowed to be free thinkers. we can only comment on the situation, not attempt to lead the situation to the safety of the shore even if the ship is now at 45degrees and only us pakistanis are onboard :(

Just because they were born in a certain place, how would you feel and react if your parents were killed (God forbid) by what you are calling 'conventionals'?

Oh come on.

Mullah umer had the choice to save his country and his people.

So do the beardos in Pakistan.

They all have a choice to quit their religious terror. Nobody is forcing them to destroy their own country like those Afghani primitive tribals.

May be it is too much to ask from the ones with primitive tribal minds.

tough luck if they cant go anywhere else other than a country supposedly keeping them in concentration camps. i doubt that is in any way reflective of reality but I'll let it go.

i suppose there have been instances where countries have done that (Nazi Germany springs to mind), but I dont think the person I was talking to feels his country compares to Nazi Germany. If it did, it would surely be a tragedy, and the blame wouldnt lie on Faisal Shahzad.

the myopia you suffer from apparently handicaps you from anything but ji-huzoori towards 35,000 bomb dropping, concentration camp maintaining countries.
So you ought to be careful otherwise you come across as callous and terror sympathizer.
yea right.

I blame him for what he did. You blame him for the horrible (projected) crimes of America, such as turning Waziristan to molten glass, putting people into concentration camps etc. If someone kills the family and raped the women of a robber I wouldnt be saying ‘well the robber did rob him…’

Here we go

f the blame game. It is rather childish.

Pig faisal's level can only oink. That's all.

It is the Jihadi mentality and the Mullah dens in Wazirastan that will bring bad news.

Don't be so simple!

i see you've resorted to spouting half sentences.

for sure jihadi mentality is idiotic, and dens in waziristan need to be eliminated. that needs to be accompanied with a bare minimum of humanity and higher moral ground if you want to avoid becoming worse than they.

come on yaara.

There is ample evidence to show that Shariah, money and other deals have been offered and made to convince Jihadis to quit the madness.

Either you are blind to all the years since 1995 or purposely ignoring the history. there are enough steps to show that moral high ground and humanity is everywhere in this saga except with the Jihadi Mullahs.

im sorry but there is zero moral ground in turning entire areas into molten glass and putting citizens of a certain religion into concentration camps.

He was given a choice? When was this? Are you the one living in a cave? Mullah Omar's government was a just government no matter how much you want to criticize it was the government of Afghanistan. A country decides to invade Afghanistan doesn't make Mullah Omar wrong. But I don't expect this kind of understanding from an individual like you who resorts to name calling and saying "come on yaar" when the argument goes against you. Happy living in your bubble, let it not pop or you'll witness the ugliness you promote hit back at you!

I didn't ask you to think like Mullah Omer, but an ordinary citizen of his country who has not say in the 'foreign relations' and had his family killed as 'collateral damage'. Human life is precious, be it in Kandhahar or New York.

I was wondering if you would call millions of Americans who are against military action in Afg and Iraq, 'terror sympathizers'.

you don't have to ASK anyone. Just study the present and understand the history.

In today's globalized world, bad leaders/thakedars bring death and destruction to their own people's home and country's borders by inviting 1000 times bigger power.

And Mullah Umer was one such bad leader. And you can keep on beating the drums of hate and anarchy, and guess what? there will be more death and destruction.

However if you quit the religious shenanigans, and concentrate on being a good global citizen, and build and rebuild your country (like Chinese) then you or the country won't be in deep $hite.

Millions of Americans you talk about have their tummies filled, and their homes are safe form foreign militaries. So they can afford the luxuries of being lefties and righties.

But for us Pakistanis, it is the do or die situation. If we don't stand up for our own country and try to save from internal enemies and external threats, then we are doomed.

Aping few Americans (who by the way heavily supported Iraq/Afghan invasion at the time), is not good for Pakistanis. We are in different situations and must have a mindset that leads us to save our country and its civilized institutions.

Investigators are hunting a suspected money courier

Handout
Faisal Shahzad spent five months in Pakistan, where he is believed to have connected with terrorists.

An overseas courier reportedly helped funnel cash to the accused Times Square terrorist in the months before his failed attempt to detonate a homemade car bomb.

Investigators have identified the man who provided Faisal Shahzad with money to purchase an SUV and materials used to whip up the crude bomb in a Connecticut garage, The Associated Press reported Friday.
Shahzad, who was out of work and desperate for money, paid cash for the Nissan Pathfinder SUV and an international plane ticket to Dubai after the botched bombing last weekend.
Probers had told the Daily News they suspected the 30-year-old accused bomber was receiving financial aid from foreign sources.
The investigation into Shahzad’s possible ties with terrorist networks includes a review of his finances - everything from real estate records to pay stubs, sources told The News.
Investigators are studying at least four extreme Islamist terror networks concentrated in Waziristan, Pakistan, where Shahzad said he received bomb-making training.
The networks include the Taliban and Lashkar-e-Taiba, the Pakistani militants behind the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
Shahzad readily admitted to investigators that he met with member of Lashkar-e-Taiba, a top (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/United+States) counterterrorism official told the News.
Shahzad has been spilling his guts to interrogators, claiming he met with radical Yemeni-American cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who exchanged e-mails with Fort Hood, Tex., shooter Nidal Malik Hasan. And Awlaki may have met Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the Nigerian who tried to blow up an airliner over the U.S. on Christmas Day.
Shahzad is also insisting he met with Taliban leader Hakimullah Mehsud, who has pledged to strike U.S. cities in revenge for CIA drone attacks - one of which almost killed him.
As investigators follow the money trail, Shahzad’s old boss said he called her just three months ago begging for work.
Shahzad, after returning from a five-month trip to Pakistan, made three calls to a Connecticut jewelry store seeking the same menial $10-an-hour job he held in his college days.
In February, a polite Shahzad called Sylvia Lee at Dynasty Jewelry about a job - and then made two follow-up calls. The terror suspect thanked her even after she turned him down.
“It was very strange, but I remembered him,” said Lee, owner of the New Haven shop. "I told him we were very slow and didn’t have any job opportunities open.
“I was so surprised to hear from him.”
Barely two months later, the accused terrorist was looking flush: He paid for the used Nissan Pathfinder he converted into a lethal car bomb with 13 $100 bills.
And he used cash to buy a $700 seat for his Monday night escape attempt from New York.
Shahzad’s desperation to get a low-paying retail job was at odds with accounts of his spending on the failed plan to target tourists in the neon-lit slice of midtown.
His landlord in Bridgeport, Conn., said Shahzad was never late with his $1,150 monthly rent, despite no apparent source of income.
A video released yesterday by Phantom Fireworks of Matamoros, Pa., shows Shahzad casually filling a basket with M-88s and paying for the powerful firecrackers, which he used in his failed bomb, with a $100 bill.
And he purchased a Kel-Tec 9-mm semiautomatic assault weapon at a Connecticut gun store in March. The weapon, along with five clips, was found in the suspect’s abandoned car in a JFK Airport parking lot after his attempt to flee the country.
