If the CIA drones had not been able to kill the leaders of the factions in 30 strikes according to your report then how could the reporters get close to the Taleban to get details of what was going on, when the CIA could get close to them? If you keep planting stories in newspapers then eventually opinion is accepted as fact and perception become reality. They say that truth is the first casualty of war.

CIA could not kill Mullah Nazir in 30 strikes upto 2009 and god knows how much more since and yet only manages to kill him recently when he asks the TTP to move out of Waziristan. How convenient.
