Pakistani student tops ‘O’ Levels economics exam

ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani student, Myra Ejaz, has topped in the world in ‘O’ Levels economics May/June 2006 exams from the University of Cambridge by securing 99 percent marks.
Myra, the daughter of Ambreen and Ejaz Rafi Butt and granddaughter of Muhammad Rafi Butt, appeared as a student from a school in Islamabad. online

good news ..... and glad that it's done by a girl,....... and there was another girl from Karachi i believe, she was the youngest (prob. <15 yrs old) Java certified programmer.

Well, this isnt something new... There are numerous Olevel toppers every year in Pakistan, from multiple schools, goto British Council's website and you will find them there.

congrats to her and her parents, its good shez done it but we should be inspired from this and now we need to do it too. i.e. achieve great marks and make the pakistanis feel proud becoz pakistanis are being treated like dirt these days.
