Cholay aloo chaat
kaley channey
samosay [potato waley and keemay waley]
fruit chat
pakorey
kababs
cutlets
cake rusk
dahi barey
patties
rolls with assorted fillings

Pretty much the same stuff as snacks you get in India.

…might be useful for desi snacks etc…

Re: Pakistani Snacks

those are all indian too like you said but what about strictly pakistani ones, you know how in india they have chakli, fafda, sev or some of those other fried snacks, there aren't any that are only native to pakistan?

Re: Pakistani Snacks

ok thanks, i’ll look the site over for pakistani snacks

Re: Pakistani Snacks

I've been to Pakistan and have been in a Pakistani family for 15 years. Can't say I have eaten any snack as such that is unique to Pakistan. Meat dishes, yes. Even though you get all the typical niharis and biryanis and paye and haleem in India...I've got to say that the Pakistani versions are superior. And some dishes, I have never heard of in India.

Re: Pakistani Snacks

^yea i’m sure the nonveg dishes are superior but unfortunately there aren’t any strictly pakistani restaurants nearby. there a restaurant that, i think is owned by a pakistani and indian muslim as a partnership and the food there is heavenly, don’t know whether it is the pakistani side or the indian side that makes it heavenly but it’s yummy nonetheless :k:

i was hoping for a regional snack that might give me a chance to feel for a split second that i’m in pak visiting or something
