are pakistani singers better than indian singers?
Our pop scene is better, but their filmi industry has better music, by a long shot.
ofcourse pakistani singers are better than indian, waaay better :k:
indians are way better
sonu nigam, abhijeet, kumar sanu, udit narayan, shaan..these are some great singers..and my all time favorite kishore kumar
pakistani pop beats the crap out of indian pop..
i was never one for filmi songs anyway..
How could you forget Rafi and Lata? ![]()
Sheraz bhai, aap ko pop se dilchuspi tu ho gi?
Pakistani singers definitely are on the top!
additionally classical music and ghazals are better there. not to say we have not had some greats like amanat ali khan, mehdi hassan, tina sani etc. better bhangra there, i think wehave better qawals..i have 4 lettrers NFAK..
Pop is debateable, we are not exposed to many of the indian pop singers. I would say we are better in terms of diversity of bands and music. junoon, fuzon, milestones etc come to mind as very diff bands.
classical- tie
pop- pakistan no doubt.
filmi- india kicks ass.
qawali- pakistan kicks ass
Pakistaniyon ki chothi-chothi khoosiyaan....
....and Jamali is better looking than Vajpayee...

If it makes you feel any better I think you are better looking than Jamali and vajpayee combined
Sheraz bhai sonu nigam??????
THe pop scene in pakistan is alot better . However I do enjoy Indian pop as well. Stereo nation, Lucky ali, bombay vikings all are good.
Stereo Nation, I thought they were Sikhs from UK, most UK sikhs want nothing to do with India
Pakistani Pop is way better,, I dont give a sh!t about that filmi stuff so I cant say anything there.
In terms of the skill of singing, I would say Indians have the advantage of TRAINING. Its considered an art there, and this art is cultivated. In Pakistan, when it comes to pop, anyone who thinks they've got a good voice goes for it. Yeah, Pakistan does do training in the classical and qawwali areas, but I don't think we're too creative in that department. The training for those areas is much more complex in India.
But, given that our training area lacks, we've got some pretty good talent. And to be able to make the quality of songs we hear in Pakistan without really good training is a pretty big accomplishment. So, in a way, Pakistani singers are actually better than Indian singers.

one can never or should not compare singers, musicians, poets, painters etc. Better questions can be what singers one listens to or like?
Music especialy in Northern India and Pakistan transcends boundries as Urdu and Hindi are similar..
I am Pakistani but listens to anything that seem seastern and love Rafi, Lata, Kishore, Mukesh, Asha and Hemants Kumars songs.. ghazals of Jagjit and Masood Khan
Pakistani pop is much better than indian
Indian film music is much better than the lollywood music.
Why dont pakistani female singers have a clear and a lighter voice?
Pakistani non filmi scene is 1000 times better than india but they are too good in filimi music. but v also have legends....
Noor Jahan
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
Adnan Sami
etc etc
and in pop and rock india ko 100 saal chaheyn pakistan ko beat kerne ke liye
v have Junoon, EP, Noori, Fuzon ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, bla bla bla
