Yesterday, I saw String’s video Durr on an Indian channel. Also, Adnan Sani Khan and Shazia Manzoor are on Indian channels with their videos. Now my questions are:
Is it OK for Pakistani singers to send their viseos to Indian channels? Personally, I think its OK because in this case, they get more exposure.
Do you guys see any other Pakistani songs on Indain channels recently?

i saw JEETO JHAPPAR PHAAR KAY a month ago...jis main strings kay wo dono larkay aye hoye thay...and u know b4 they get a chance to play they have to qualify by guessing the personality govinda asks for by asking questions...
and guess what...he tried to answer TWICE..and he FAILED both of the times!!!!
is say ziyada kya baat ho gi kay INDIA geya...for that program or khelnay ka chance nahi milla...
2) shazia manzoor ..now shez done a trakc with BALLAY JAGPAL..for his latest album called DARK n DIRECT...or jo wo gaana hai NOOR JEHAN ka "neendraan nayi aniaan" us ka bera gharak kar diya hai ...
recently saw an interview of Ali Azmat...or pooray interview main us nay PAKISTAN ka aik daffa bhi zikkar nahi kiya...apnay aap ko SOFIYANA GROUP keh rahay thay....baahir ja kar ye log bilkul badal jaate hain..apni shankhat bhool jate hain....

I believe its a great idea for these artists to go to India, since the exposure means more cash. The only thing I really do not like is that when they make deals with the record companies there, these Indians get them to make videos there as well. I think the videos really should be Pakistani, becuz its one of the best ways to promote Pakistani culture. And frankly, with the general sentiment in India these days being that Pakistanis are "barbaric" and "terrorists", they need a positive image to refer to. And what with PTV banned now, the music videos playing on MTVAsia and B4U and CHANNEL V, are the only way that India can get a glimpse at our culture. God knows to what extent Pakistanis have already been influenced by Indian culture! I think that the videos being made these days are great in Pakistan, no less in quality than Indian videos.
And I dont believe it is necessary for these stars to make references to Pakistan in every interview they make. It is actually the responsibility of the Indian media, when interviewing them and stuff, to present them as Pakistani artists. Some of them do that, some dont.
well none of the pakistanis with the exeption of adnan sami made thier mark in india besides i found them all mediocre again with the exeption of "fat boy"

What about Junoon and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan?
Well, you havent listened to Vital Signs, Junaid Jamshed, Hadiqa, Awaz and Jawad Ahmed. Otherwise, you wouldnt have said that.
I have to agree with the fact that Indian Film music is good and Pakistani film music sucks, but Pakistani Pop music is far better than Indian Pop music.
Just saw Haroon's video "Piyareya" on MTV. Song is nice but the fight in the video has an Indian touch
