No its not true the thing is that pakistani women themselves think that way - they decide to raise their kids on their own without any help - my phupi was on the verge of getting divorced and she is very educated and good looking as well Mashallah but she decied to go back to her husband because she was worried about what others will think, its just that the women have this thing to care about others more then themselves but there are women i know who have gotten married after either their husbands have died or they have gotted divorced - its only the uneducated and lower class people who restrict their women and everywhere be it Pakistan or India uneducated people behave in such manner but yes in India most educated people as well are against a women getting married after their husbands death
