Hi,
I am exploring national restaurants in the Chicago area, I like to experience different cultures. Anyone knows about a Pakistani restaurant in Chicago?

Re: Pakistani restaurant in Chicago
ON devon UsMANIA , SABRI
try JK kabab house for pakistani food and annapurna for indian snacks. good and reasonably priced food.at annapurna, for sure try their pani puri, bhel puris and masala dosa.
at sabri, butter chicken is the really good.
Re: Pakistani restaurant in Chicago
@ sabrii, try chicken pakoora too.... their almost all menu is awesomn. on both north ave sabri and devon sabri
other than that, try chinese usmania @ devon , try one chinese restaurant @ golf road and barrington, its chicken is halal and their all chicken menu is remarkably awesomn.try halal zabiha KFC at roosevelt rd. theres desi grill @ roosevelt rd their gyros are one and one and only in town. theres one italian express at devon as well as one in glendale heights. they have american menu too and its all zabiha and on top of that, taste like heaven.try their t-bone steak, NY rib eye, u'll forget everything.
tell me if it helps, i'll send u more names.
Re: Pakistani restaurant in Chicago
yaar whats so cultural about KFC.
other places u can try out, bhabhis kitchen, pepper and salt, khans BBQ (try the kebabs)
Sabri is good - the biryani isn't great some days though. JK kebab is excellent, and there is a hole in the wall place that does really good kebabs kind of across and down from Sabri - I can't remember the name but the food is really spicy. Tahoora does good breakfast on the weekends.
thanks to everyone, i will surely try it out.
btw, anyone knows also about pakistani place in prague?
Re: Pakistani restaurant in Chicago
Devon .. only place I have been to during my stays in Chicago. There is this Aisan restaurant, halal of course, and the food is simply excellent, I love Chicago amazing City. I can't remember the name of the place but anything on Devon is good. Forget KFC halal or not.. there is no flavor to American food, its boring.
