No non-desi (with the exception of arabs) ever pronounced even my name right .. how comes we never saw a thread on that

I LOVE the pakistani accent. Its so musical, beautiful to listen to. Nothing wring in getting a smile or two from it esp since its just so nice to listen to.

funny thing, pakistanis often substitute the “w” sound with the “V” sound and vice versa. My hubby does it but not too often. Funny thing is that my middle guy does this all the time! Almost like its a genetic thing! Instead of saying “veggies”, he says “weggies” etc.

meaning: you can’t defeat your enemies by breaking their goey (i.e. employing meaningless tactics that don’t really hurt the enemy)
