Pakistan and India both exchanged some 587(435 Indians and 152 Pakistanis) in another effort to improve the relations betwwen the two countries since we pakistanis always believe in peace and stability in the region but i am doubtful about the intentions of the indian governmnet.
Around 50 of the 152 pakistanis who returned home have been so badly tortured that they became insane.There is a lot of discussion about sarabjit singh or manjeet singh whoever he is that he is innocent and a mistaken identity and was forced to give statement etc etc.But what treatment did the indian authoroties gave to our prisoners who were simply accused of crossing the border unintentionally.
If a RAW agent like sarabjit is set free by Pakistan and indian government keeps on torturing our citizens why should be friends with that country who encourages Human rights violations.
The torture of Pakistanis in Indian military camps(I am not telling abt prison tortures)varies from receivers regions to regions.
For example,sindhis are not usually heavily tortured.But Punjabis and Patanis(who usually reach India as fidayeens and for drug trafficking)receive a great amount of third degree beating.
Patanis get it heavily because they are disliked by all .Usually patanis, after their first level of beatings,are asked to sit on hot sand or hot ground on bare foot,for hours.But sindhis are freed of all these.Thy are not that treated badly.
Similarily,Indians are also treated like thesein Pakistani jails.The sad thing is that Pakstani soldiers or guards beat even small children who accidentally cross over in to Pak territories.
Same goes for India what happens to indians in indian jails.The point is two ountries exchanged the prisoners why only pakistani prisoners became insane.
