Much Music did a ranking of countries which have the best pop music in the world.

USA was number 1, but surprisingly Pakistan was number 2.

So proud to be a Pakistani

Their pop and rock bands have always been awesome. I love some of new harder edged music coming out of Pakistan.

I don’t beleive that this poll would have taken into consideration “film” music. Indian rock/pop music is utter crap, which is why it’s probably not on the list.
