Law is a problem but even bigger problem is that people do street justice. In both the cases people and police officer never let law take its course. So its the matter of changing mindset of people

once that is done, Law should be amended and there should be death (or at least life in prison) for wrongful accuser.

and who and how will you change mentality? you are admitting ulema will not do it …so who will do it? till then innocents will keep dying

plus why would someone in his right mind commit blasphemy in a 98% majority country? can someone help me understand this… if i am part of a 3% minority who is already harassed and sacred, why would i commit blasphemy knowingly?

if this law remains there in a 98% muslim majority country it will always be used for wrong reasons…regardless of mindset
