Salaam,
i’m going to pakistan next month. i have a british passport and my mom has a pakistani passport. I was hoping if anyone nknew if my mom neded anything on her pakistani passport. Like a visa to get back into the country (UK)?
Does your mother also have a British passport?
I used to go to pakistan on a Pakistani passport, thus not needing a visa, and then re-enter the UK on my British passport, thus not needing a visa to return
Just make sure that she has a valid british passport with her when she goes back else she won't be allowed back in the UK and will be deported to Pakistan.
Sem,
If your mother only has a Pakistani passport, then she should have a green certificate in the visa pages which states 'GIVEN LEAVE TO REMAIN IN THE UNITED KINGDOM FOR AN INDEFINITE PERIOD'.
Hope that helps? :)
ye she had that stamp from the home office in her last passport, but she has a new one now. so what does she do?

In that case just staple the old passport to the new one. Then either when you are leaving the UK or come back, the Immigration Officer at the (UK) airport will add a stamp to the new passport stating 'Given indefinite leave to remain in the United Kingdom', and write comments beside it like As endorsed in previous passport.
Don't worry, if she has been given indefinite leave to remain in the UK, she will have no problems at all in coming back from Pakistan. Just make sure both passports are kept together. :)
Uglysem, you should check with the concerned authorities [UK immigration authorities] and check that you have what you need, all the papers and stamps etc...
dont just rely on info u get from ppl...
coz if u overlook something it could create a bad situation so why take the risk
happy travelling
