i’m pretty worried about our bowling line up (pacers that is).
we’ve managed to come up with fantastic fast bowlers over the yrs who have gone on to become legends. though currently, we do have pacers , however , none of them are as consistent as we have been used to in the past. which of the current crop of pacers do u think will become legends in say 5- 10 yrs time.. when the likes of f. mehmood, i. khan, s. nawaz, w.akram, w.younis were 2-3 yrs into their careers, one sensed that they would go onto becoming greats..i’m afraid i can’t say that about any pacer currently in the team.
Re: pakistani pacers
If Shoaib Akhtar could be a fit player and keep his focus on games (not outside of games), he definitely has the talent to become one of the legends, but oh well. Sami has some pace, but not as fast and doesn't have much control and variety.
PS: Rana and Rao are not "pace bowlers", just to let you know. :)
