Piyari can't you get the POC from the High Commission in London or something? Waleed, people who don't have the green passport but are from Pakistan originally have POCs which allow them visa free entry in to Pakistan. I have one too.

Actually its not for me..Its for my fiance. Basically he has dual nationality British Passport and Pakistani passport. So his PK passport has expired and a month n half ago he went to get it renewed..they said it will take a month he still hasnt received anything after a month and a half and even paid extra for them to hurry it up beacuse he is coming to London on 17th Sepember for our wedding. So we are getting really worried because they said they need confirmation from Islamabad but no-one is saying properly wth is going on..so we was thinking to get Pakistan Origin Card so he can get out of the country atleast... or any other suggestions..Please help!! its our wedding soon!!!

Wait sorry, if he has dual nationality and a British passport then why does he need a POC or Pakistani passport to come to the UK? I thought POC entitles visa free entry in to PAKISTAN. Why doesn't he use his British passport to get out of the country?

AFAIK POC is issued by the embassy of your location. Further more you can ask NADRA office in Islamabad online or by contacting them on phone.

yes but he needs to show a visa in his UK passport that he had entry in Pakistan though doesnt he...?? so i think that would cause an issue..

Okay just so I understand this, he entered Pakistan using the RED or GREEN passport? Green passport? Then yes, he has a problem. Better get cracking on that POC and I suggest you inform the British Authorities about what happened with his passport (the expiration) so that does not cause any more problems later on.

He entered with his green passport..and yes looks like he needs to get cracking with his POC card...Please everyone dua karna that he atleast gets his passport on time..if not a POC card..

I have POC, as far as i know, POCs are issued from your local pakistani consulates.
When i got the POC i had to show my father's identity as pakistani, they issued me very fast.
I also have dual nationality plus a POC.
One more thing is, you need to find out if pakistani passports allows dual nationality, some countries does not allow dual nationality, if you get a new one you have to give up the other one, so i guess they may only issue him a POC.
And yeah, you shouldn;t have paid extra fee for fast process, cause i have been to NADRA and i asked them will you send out my docs to
ISB nest day if i pay you the fast processing fee. his response was " ab hum sirf app keliye aik doc to send out nahin kar sakte, jab kafi sare akathey ho jayen ge to tab hi bheje jayen ge or abhi to hamare pass sift 4-5 hi pare hain" ???? why am i paying the extra fee then?????
Anyway, i don;t know if it's helpful, this is all i know. :D

If he has applied for a passport renewal and has not yet applied for a POC, it is highly unlikely that he will get the POC before he gets his new passport.
