I want to compile a list of Pakistani charities, NGOs, relief agencies, media outlets etc. This would be helpful for people in general. I still remember peopel scrambling to figure out who is doing what in earthquake ravaged Pakistan. This will also be useful for the hands on projects we have talked about recently.

Re: Pakistani NGOs, relief agencies, media contacts
Thank You
Is there a similar site for media contacts.
btw the listing is a bit tough, u dont have an option there to look at them alphabetically or anything. better than nothing but a dropdown list to select would be helpful.
Plus it is not complete, I entered names of some groups I know that have been around for 2 decades plus, and they are nto showing up. good resource though.
All
its a good resource, but please add the names here as well if you see that the group u know is not listed there.
Re: Pakistani NGOs, relief agencies, media contacts
I have a question that is off-topic, but somewhat related:
Do oyu Fraudz or anyone else have any information on any entities/companies/organizations here that have a link to NGO's back home, or just that type of group to work with here. Reason I am asking is my husband did work with org of these sorts in pak, but need some leads here
Re: Pakistani NGOs, relief agencies, media contacts
yeah, look up human development foundation, its based out of chicago. i used to be very active with them until a a few years ago, but had a brief hiatus, good group.
Re: Pakistani NGOs, relief agencies, media contacts
I'd contribute, but Im not even sure if the ones I knew about exist anymore... There was one (nothing to do with relief though), which was really impressive, SDNPK, sustainable development network of Pakistan and their office was located in G-6 I believe, close to covered market. They were big on networking Pakistan, not just technicalogically but through various traditional means too.
