Pakistani movies

There was a time when I used to update this place in a crazy fashion about the latest developments in Pakistan’s film industry.

After being disconnected from the film industry for a little less than a year, I was perusing some of the websites to catch up…

So, all the actors and actresses are jumping across the border to be in Indian movies. (Moammer Rana in dobara)

Even Pakistani musicians are delving in soundtrack production in India.

And I remember they were supposed to come out with some movies like Salakhein, and Pehla Pyar and some other movies…

Samina Peerzada is trying to rope in Rani Mukherjee for a joint-nation film? Whatever happened to that movie she was supposed to be producing in Karachi?

So…does Pakistan HAVE a film industry anymore…?

tsk tsk...dunno...sigh

hey PyariCgudia, i remember reading your updates on Lollywood and i must say i did used to find it interesting. Although there seems to be little or no traces of the film industry, the programmes that used to run on the pakistani channels regarding Lollywood seem to have faded as well. Our actors only seem to want to act in Indian movies and although there is nothing wrong with that i feel they should not break ties totally with Lollywood, i am looking forward to watching Salaakhian, Pehla Pehla Pyar, Khule Aasman Ke Neche and Koi Tujh sa Kahan, PyariCgudia and Sparkly Eyes dont lose faith, there is hope, inshahallah some day our industry will be regargded among the best.

I don't see it happening Malaika But OK if you say so other than that I don't think Lollywood can survive any longer with the screeing of Indian movies in Pakistan. I 'm predicting a new name for the industries BollyLolly-wood soon.
