Not an attack on you Monk, but I don't understand why Sharmeen's Oscars are seen as national achievement? The type of documentaries bringing her this attention are actually our national shame. I wish people would pay more attention to her documentaries and do something about it than celebrate her Oscar. The latter just defeats the purpose of her work.

I burped. I did not go well.

Perhaps Pakistani women now have a little bit more freedom to be who they wish to be and that is why we are seeing more and more successful women. You are right, compared to our pakistani women, I don't see our Pakistani men doing anything extraordinary. I wonder why..... we have a lot of intelligent men and women. Maybe our women have a need to prove themselves and our men don't?

Women are progressing rapidly compared to men all over the world, it is not just a Pakistani phenomenon. In our real estate business we have learnt that a lot more women will have their finances in order compared to single men.
