marrying 4 times (for the reasons prophet mohammed pbuh) did is fine. But marrying 4 times for your own physical pleasure i think its not permitted.

because men with second marriages arenot accepted in our society. people wont see that person with the same respect.

again as far as i know a man doesnot need his wife’s permission to marry again. every woman wants that her husband only belongs to him by all means thats why she cant see another woman entering his husband’s life.

They say that the Pakistani culture is heavily influenced by the Indian (hindu) culture. In the Hindu culture there is no concept of 2 wives therefore there is no concept of marrying twice in Pakistani culture. Is that correct? If not, what is correct?

i dont know much about hindu culture regarding this but i dont think so its true.

In Islam, is it required to get the permission of the wife before getting married again? If not, then the law in Pakistan that states that the husband has to get permission of the wife before getting married, is that against Islam? Is this law a sin?

****i dont think man needs his wife permission to marry again nor i think there is any such law in pakistan. polygamy is allowed in pakistani law.

What does it mean by the phrase “treating the wives with justice”? When can we say that this man is right, because he is treating his wives with justice?

i think insaaf would be to “spend time with each of them equally, buying gifts/present for all of them, fulfilling the needs of all of them” not just one they love.**

There is no Islamic ruling like that. There is No hadees , no verse in Quran , no fatwa/opinion by any Islamic scholar to backup your claim.
Spreading false information in the name of religion is a sin in Islam, there are many ahadees , many verses and many scholarly opinions which prohibit this specifically.

Bhaijaan , but bechari ka yeh matlab nahi tha…woh toh bas ek baath likh rahi thi…aur waisey bhi we are such a dheet com, do you really think that by writing a casual sentence people will regard it as a fatwa coming from Moulvan blessed2006.

Waisey blessed, just to tell ya, the most common reason for men marrying #2, 3 and 4 is physical pleasure. DO you think, do you really think they are so noble that they’d marry to rescue some poor widow from her miseries or somehing like that.
