^ It’s not good enough to just ignore the words of someone who claims to be representing Islam. It is our duty to refute someone who is spreading a version of Islam that brings it into disrepute.

Refuting by a MUSLIM is logical and acceptable, but non-Muslims jumping in and (indirectly) ridiculing the (whole) concept is not acceptable, as evident by some of their replies.
