There are laws that prohibit me from saying the kalima, saying salam, calling azan and many other things. The funny things is that the opening passage of the law makes it clear that it is intended to stop Ahmadis from indulging in non-islamic activities. Then it lists all these things. In other words calling all these things unislamic.

Chacha sahab, my intenton is no to get into ahmadiyat muslim/non muslim debate which is just plain and simple fruitless.

My queation was strictly on prohibiting someone to ‘practice’ ANY religion.

Surely any religious person from any religion CAN practice his/her relgion. No?

The penal code (not defending) seems to have provisions to practice but not what they believe is imposing to be muslim.

I understand it could be considered as if it is stopping people from practicing the religion of their choice but it does not. Unless I miss something.
