i don't believe these numbers given out by the army...in any war, truth is the first casualty. i don't think those Uzbeks and/or TTP fighters will be sitting duck in known hideouts. most of them probably have already crossed into AfGhanistan, a safe haven!
ISPR never releases any details of names and/or pictures. just take all this info with a grain of salt...may be a salt shaker rather!

Well, when people left behind are picking up the dead and burying them, they can quickly figure out a rough estimate of a number of people dead as well as civilians vs. militants if the face is still visible or if people happen to know that there are militants hiding in a certain area.
Plus there are spies on the ground. So there are estimates from there. Not sure what the range of error is, but overall, this is probably a more deadly campaign than prior days.
I hope as little innocent life is lost as possible. I shudder to think of the civilians these jerks are using as human shields.

I think that unfortunately both of them are still ensnared with muzakrat policy, and they will never leave this policy even if Pakistan gets close to be overrun by Taliban.
It is just the army which is taking matters in its own hands to teach the terrorists a lesson.

i said that because in the past terrorists were repeatedly claimed to have been killed which turned out to be incorrect. the apprehension is natural. :)
