Sometime I am really surprised to see the comments of some of our respectable members.
I dont want to comment on the recent video for some obvious reasons.
However about Taliban beating a woman is simply ridiculous.
I have read the book “Sewing Circles of Herat” by Christina Lamp (sorry for spelling). This is no doubt an anti-Taliban book and quite biased (against Taliban), through the book she has projected and accentuated the negatives of Taliban and ignored all their positives. But I dont remember she mentioned anywhere, where Taliban have ever beaten women. They have strictly stopped women from education and they have given reasons for that. They have stopped the teaching of Dari in the schools and thats how Dari Speaking Afghans are so much against Taliban.

What pray tell was their reason not alloying women to attend school? Let me guess, there werent enough teachers?
Its very hard to find anything positive about the Taliban… Outside of the fact that they brought their brand of justice and thus their brand of peace, what good did they do? I mean peace is one thing, but then peace at the cost of freedom, it doesnt sound worth it…
