I live in Canada, and here its sooo hard to find decent wedding ideas with an pakistani/indian twist!
It’s all white wedding themes example: Find the perfect white wedding dress, or talking about the cermony (where you kiss the bride). ANd all the google searches I do I end up on wedding bells etc etc, and im getting annoyed!!
I’m just really lost…and would love some help with finding our cultural themes ideas etc!!!
So with all that being said…do any of you know which shaddi websites and magizines, and books and blogs etc etc etc have our cultural wedding ideas and pictures. I’m looking for inspiration and ideas and would LOVE LOVE LOVE and appreciate the help!!!
well, you made it here.....this forum is full of everything for Pakistani weddings! You can look up anything to do with a pakistani wedding in the search bar, and it will probably come up. and if it doesnt come up, all you have to do is create a thread, and people will be more than happy to give you suggestions.
I live in Canada also, but I ordered bridal magazines from Pakistan. but if you dont want to do that, Chapters/Indigo sells Suhaag magazine, which has a lot of Indian wedding ideas (its a Canadian magazine, so all vendors are here in Canada).
There are a couple blogs I know of, but im sure other girls know more:

Yeah I know, there's not a lot out there, and it was even worse 6 years ago when I was planning my wedding! No designers had legitimate websites with their stuff. Anyway, try searching by location. If you just want ideas, you can definitely get a lot for image searches. But if you actually want vendors, then search by location and contact them to see if they've done a desi wedding. That's how I've heard about most of the people we know of in this area.
Yea right now i just need ideas...vendors I have...but I need a vision for the wedding whith color themes and ideas and entracnes and colors and centerpeices and favours and shaddi card styles....
