**this is your 60th birthday . **60 years ago, PAKISTAN became a sovereign nation. On the 14th of August, 1947, a new nation was born amid violence, fires burning as far as the eyes could see and weary refugees crossing the borders in the hope to begin a new life, all over again.
Yet today, 60 years later, Pakistan is a working model of how various cultures, religions and ethnicities can live together, work together and help each other.
Yes, she does have faults. She has had many a number of problems, both internal and foreign. Terror attacks, sectarian strifes, natural calamities, she’s had them all. Doubtless, she’ll go through them again as time passes, but she has always found the strength and resilience to soldier on.
