i didn’t want to show this picture mocking at the bad condition of Pakistani higher education system on the eve of independance day
but for how long can we hide away from the facts
a nation celebrating its 58th independance day with no University among the top 500 Unis. ofthe world
see the list here
And when the people of Balochistan and other oppressed provinces ask for institutions of higher education, they get military cantonments instead. This is the degree to which the government is indifferent to what the people want.
Re: Pakistani Higher Education and The 58th Independance Day
Ok Ok! We have one more Maulana ready to mock Pakistanis at the eve of Pakistan day. Will these people ever quit???
Some guy at Shanghai Jiao Tong University puts the ranking out and we are ready to dish dirt on Pakistanis. Come on have some self respect! Will ya?
Sure Pakistan is suffering from bad education system. Mocking will not solve the problem.
Pakistan has done wonderfully in the area of education in the “given circumstances”. Comparing this to Baha-rat or China and then mocking Pakistan is the most $tupid things to do.
SS thank you. This is an important thread and I’ll post some of my analysis later.
I am not a maulana, which is a title of respect among Muslims. Neither am I mullah, who until recently were an oddity among Sindhis.

Racist attitudes like this that many rulers have had are what divided Pakistan in 1971, and will do so again if it remains unchecked. When has the government ever bothered to provide even primary schools to Balochistan? When has any development work been done in Balochistan other then laying gas pipelines to run the industries of the Punjab? This is the government’s responsibility and it has failed miserably. When the Balochs ask for their rights, they get cantonments and guns in return.

my very friendly suggestion to you is to first look at things without previoulsy deciding in ur mind that u will try to let down the person saying that thing
u talked abt "mocking" if u read my post carefully u can see that it was definately not to mock at the backwardness of education system in Pakistan
u say that comparing to Bharat and China we have done better .. No , u can see Bharat's universities rated in the list ... and every one knows that India is producing far more PhDs than us every year
lastly "some guy" at that Shanghai Jiao Tong university is fortunately or unfortunately an authentic source to present
