YES..FOX is reporting it too.

its a taxi driver …
jihad is alive and well :mad3:

Sad Indeed :( I hope they dont harm him.

here’s the news story from CNN:

Poor guy, doesnt even belong to the nation who invaded Iraq, and also a muslim.

the so called jihad is revealed!

Whats with the attitude towards Jihad. As far as I can see the Iraqis will try to punish anyone who is helping America. Musharraf ko kiss ney kaha tha key beech mein taang arraiey?

explain where and how did musharraf tang arraie'd

Pakistanis hav been working in Kuwait and Iraq long before Americans put foot over there....This poor guy is obviously no worse than most of the Guppies who live, work and earn their living in bad evil America. By living in America, working and paying taxes that go towards American Defense budget you are contributing more towards war(if you think it is really bad) than the poor Pakistani driver who was just trying to make a living and feed his family back home.

By agreeing to send Pakistani troops "maybe" in the future. Everyone else is trying to flee Iraq and he is trying to rush in to there.

kinda sad on blaming this poor chap for something that his country may do so in future... then what is the difference between you and bush;s logic of invading Iraq.

Well, that doesnt make much sense. Afghanistan, I can understand, but Iraq doesnt fit the picture. Try again.

I didn't blame the poor chap for anything. Neither is it my logic. The Iraqi's hate the Americans and will try to attack anyone who they see might be helping them. Bush had pre-emptive attacks and so do they. One is an aggressor and the other is trying to defend their homeland with whatever strategy they can seem to find.

Poor guy is as good as dead. His fate is most likely sealed. All these humanitarian and religious appeals aint gonna do jack. And like Amjad suggested, Pakistan should close down its Embassy in Iraq and ban Pakistanis from travelling to to Iraq until the new govt has a grip on law and order situation.

^ If they do that, they will start taking hostages on a regular basis, and continue to put up their demands. Amd yes, closing down the embassy is not the only thing they demanded, they demanded all prisoners be released.

i do not know what leverage they get by keeping a Pakistani.. it's not as if there are any Pakistani troops there.. in fact Pakistan is against the occupation and has clearly stated they treat the US as occupiers and not liberators.

^ so according to your conspiracy theories PA, it is a CIA plot to capture a Pakistani and behead him to get back at the masses in Pakistan for not supporting the occupation..correct?

The Turks were released yesterday. So, there is still hope.

i feel for my fellow azad kashmiri Amjad Hafeez, pak government hasn’t even approached the hostage’s poor family. ] becharai ki maa made a emotional appeal i saw bits of it on ary dig’ , his realtives were in a bad state, may allah help him.

Where is Jamaat-e-Islami?

The Jamaat-e-Islami which claims to be the Jamaat working for the Muslim Ummah should have at least appealed to the captors to release Amjad Hafeez who is a Muslim. So far they have not done so and probably the thought never occurred to them. Instead of carrying out the so called ‘peace march’ in Karachi which was aimed at creating a Law and Order situation, they should carry out some sort of appeal/peace initiative in Iraq.
