The is no source, this statistic was from my own individual experince & by talking to different people who share the same view or had the same feelings like me. But I know there are cultural aspects too that makes guys like this and things might be slowly changing.

Yes, very important!

I wear 12 in sneakers & 13 in boots & that’s the steal toe boots. So, think twice before stalking me

Man is the root of all evil … and good!

don't forget the fact the guys brought in west go thru these type of experiences in early teen changing several girlfriends.

May Allah SWT guide us all towards right and help us follow the right

SADI,

I had some similar experience while I was in Pak..
But to me it’s ifferent I guess.I have some very close male pakistani friends here in Holland… just friends they are!
And having this kind of relationship here with guys I acted very friendly and outgoing with some guys in Pakistan (some of my cousins aswell) and believe it or not every single one of them thought I was interested in them… and all of them let me know that in a different way.
One of them automatically assumed I wanted to get married (hilarious naa

) and I was like..what the helllllllllll!!..
Ofcourse I knew things would be different in Pak.. but silly me thought there was no harm in being friendly with guys.
Well I learned my lesson

i highly recommend you guys take a crash course in Sociology and spend sometime getting used to a term "ethnocentricism"

You’re yesterdays left overs dude…Zaalim is teh man of the moment..all it took was a lil chat…

I was born with a defective eye

I totally agree with Sadi and the rest of you that we maybe losing lots of good friends and all that fun in life, just because some desis are so narrow minded. Sometimes there are many good people (from the opposite sex) who could bring a change in our lives, only by being our close friends. But we are so much afraid of our culture and society and it's mentality.

Being married, I don't want anything more than a nice friendship. But I am also afraid to let him know that I am married cuz I don't want to lose such a nice friend.
[/quote]

Under these conditions you are now officially leading him on. In tabloid terms, by witholding information on your marital status, you're well on your way to an extra marital affair.
