That reminds me, at the masjid, we learned:

RasulAllah s.a.w said :

"If one of you sees (something) bad, he should change it with his hand;

p.s. seriously, generally when one goes to a restaurant, he should just sit back enjoy his food, and his present company. There is no need to go around 'chat it up with the ladies' and get their numbers.

I dont know what to say to you...you're disappointed in your friend for not asking some random stranger for a phone number? And proud that your Afghani friend did? And also didnt have the guts to ask for their numbers yourself?

To be honest with you...the best approach is the right approach. Until you can do the right thing...you should lay a little low.

Its not good for the Pakistani man's image to be walking upto strange women and askng for their digits.

And you wonder why Pakistani men are perceived as players? Specifically the ABCDs?
