Pakistani Gold

What’s the matter with you Bismah? Of course American Gold is better.

I discussed with my wife about Frauz suggestion of switching to a Platinum wedding band, and my wife said that she will notify the FBI if I ever mention any atomic related metals such as Platinum or Urinial. Thanks Fraudz, this was the last time I listened to you, you terrorist.

:o

Xtreme you're sudda sona. You'll be surprised where they hide the sona, paitiyaN is one place but they also hide it in the vaira...dig a whole and wrape it in potliyaN and stuff it there....opar se pocha laga do and voila. I remember once when i was little, i was at a relatives house and they closed the door and it was all hush hush. They started digging and i thought we had discovered a treasure or something :D

Some pakistani gold is tacky, but i've seen some beautiful and delicate jewellery too. Pakistanis don't want no milawat, cuz then it ain't the real thing anymore. You explain to them that the milawat one lasts longer but they won't budge.

Try selling american Gold (Jewellery) in Subcontinent - Kaudiyon ke bhao me bhi nahin lega koi. OTOH - India/pak Gold will sell anywhere in the world.

Waise - american 24 Carat Gold Coin is much in demand in India.

Those FOBs don't take any crap when it comes to their gold. I swear he was opn the point of ripping off Ginger's necklace and chucking it in the nearest trash can.

lol, so funny Sehar, I remember as kid such stories of my relatives as well. Suprisling that most families have so much common trends. In fact you would think that fabric napkins are for wiping noses but no in the sub-continent they were(are) used for storing gold jewerly. When my grandma had time, she would treat us with a grand tour of her gold jewerly, stored in God knows how many patiyan and napkins, till she was finished unwrapping, we would be all dead with curiousity. And some distance relatives would look ‘poor’ but during wedding time, they would come out wearing so much shinning jewerly that your eyes would be all :eek:You would wonder where all that came from…hehe anyway I wonder if our grandchildern are gonna talk about our wacky habits like us

I would never wear a paindo style jewerly..thank God now in Pakistan the trend is going towards more western style but still traditional. I saw some nice jewerly in Lahore which were great stuff for my eyes :k:

lol, Did you knew that jewerly made in europe & USA is more expensive than jewerly made from Pak/indo, even if they use pure gold there.
