Pakistani giving gifts

Why do pakistani peeple give gifts they received from others, but didnt like? I v seen it several times before, but Its just so incredible foolish and *******
Pakistani peeple are to kanjoos to buy some one a proper gift ( some exceptions here and there)

One family buys some cheap *ss gift and gives it to some one and that person saves the gift again because he/she doesnt like it and passes it on again and so on.
And a gift is for one person, its rude aswell to give it away :o

I mean, :o sharram nahi ati logon ko? I always bought something I knew they would like and the price was always the last thing I looked at.

Have u guys done this? Pass gifts on u got from some one else?

I m feeling better now, this was bugging me for several days now

No, personally never done that but know what you speak of.

Us Pakistanis are so novel. Har kaam nikema..so damn cute :hehe:

The thing is, if you don't like a gift, and have no use for it, and know you will never use it, why not try and give it to someone who might?

I only ever do this with chocolates. When I get given a box of chocolates, half the time it gets stored for passing on to someone else.

Mental Note: Prior to any London Meet mention to dex that the duck don't like chocs either.

I personally don't have many occasions to give gifts to pakistanis, don't have any pakistanis in this area that I know. But this is exactly why when my parents give gifts to other pakistanis, they give them something engraved and personalized, that way they can't pass it on.

u think thats bad.. I once got half eaten shushi..:rotfl:

im sure the person bought it didnt like it.. and gave it to me as a present..

I once got back the gift I gave to someone through somebody else.
The reason I knew it was the same was because I had accidentally broke the foam packing and had to put a tape over it to patch it up.

I don't see anything wrong with it though...if you don't need it pass it on to someone else who might.
