Unfortunately we are not Indian or Arab girls. Sorry for being a tad bit old fashioned but we have our izzat and our parents izzat to protect. In our religion it says that when a man and a women are in the same room alone, satan comes in between them. And it is sooo true. If I had a boyfriend I would want to bang him ( lol just kidding ^ _ ^ ) I would want to 'be with' him and that would lead to bad bad things. Plus did you know that if you have sex before marriage you get 60 years + of sins. And if you have a child as result of that you get sins for every step that child takes. If you get an abortion done then you get sins for that too. And dating leads to intimate relationships, that is why we have all these teen pregnancies and abortions.
And you know not dating anyone adds more excitement on your wedding day. Your finally going to be with your 'other half' and can share all your experience with them.
You have no regrets about giving your first kiss or virginity to someone who was not your 'life partner' and the father of your children. I shudder at the thought of having to live with that regret. ( i think it's different if your marriage does not work out and then you get married again)

Frankly I think it is about time they all started dating. Arab girls do it. Indian girls do it. It would solve some of their issues that is for certain. Mental and boy related.

Sammi has made some valid points although I'm wondering about the idea of the person receiving sins for every step that the child takes. Is there a hadith about that....cuz the idea of Allah being that harsh doesn't sound right....especially when Islam holds each person (including children) accountable for their own sins.

The child will be born pure as Islam does not support the concept of original sin. But the whole idea that parents receive gunnah (even chalta/phirta/continuous) for **every action **the kid takes....just doesn't seem right. That sounds harsh. I don't want to picture Allah that way.

**YES...the child is as INNOCENT as any other child born to parents in wedlock...Islam meN bachcha Haraamii nahiiN hotaa bal k maan baap hote haiN jo aise Haraam kaam karte haiN...sinners are ONLY the parents...PERIOD!
