So I’ve been speaking to a friend who happens to be a teacher and she says that alot more teenage Pakistani girls are making themselves more available to boys albeit in a discreet manner. She’s seen girls making out, leaving in another guy’s car and flirting like theres no tomorrow at the school she teaches (which happens to be in a Pakistani-Indian dominated area).
She puts it down to mothers watching Star TV all day and fathers not playing an active role in their child’s life. But is it really just that? I’ve seen doting parents who have messed up kids as well. I thought it was kind of rude to tar every girl with the same brush because I know some very sensible Pakistani girls…but is the situation now changing? What can we do to stop it?
Star, yes she shouldnt have generalized at all.. but I do agree that I have seen this trend in girls and boys as well .. and I will put the blame on the parents really who werent able to teach their kids values, religion and the difference between right and wrong ...
Strict parents risk losing their kids bigtime, lenient parents risk the same with kids exploiting parents trust .. what is needed is a descipline and a good relationship with kids at the same time ...
not all pakistanis but just some, obviously if one is not brought up with any devine values, is anything worldly even worth obeying?
flirting with these subjects, is what some pakistanis want. you can see it here in all views. demand is so for the hawt topics
from a community prospective, its the willful neglect to attribute responsibility on our boys that is contributing to the looseness of our girls. where boys go, girls follow is what ive learnt
I don't think it's always the parents fault. If someone wants to behave in that way they will do it no matter. I know a girl who comes from a very good family, the parents have done everything possible to bring their kids up the right way. All of them have turned out pretty well and decent except for this one girl who is totally off the rails when she is out of the house. Her parents have no idea what she is really like and I don't think her behaviour is a reflection of the way she has been brought up cos the rest of her siblings are good. It's just her. She is the way she is because she wants to be that way regardless of how her parents have raised her.
The boys tend to have a lot more sexual experience than the girls yet usually no-one bats an eyelid. Most desi girls are angels compared to their brothers, ask a school teacher what goes on and the differences they see in male and female desi pupils, they'll say the desi girls if they're in a relationship will tend to stay with that person long-term perhaps even leading to marriage whilst many of the boys will run around like dogs on heat and yet strangely it's still the girls in our communities who get the bad reputation..
Yeah Boii, you mean the ABCD girls you can't get with because you're not hot enough?
Exactly, the community college my sister goes to have a large body of Desi students. I swear the last time I went there, I thought it was a scene from a bollywood movie. Weird, ugly, colorful clothes on girls and boys and flirting endlessly.. I mean wow! They are not Americanized, they are Bollyfied..lol
Many or most "brothers" growing up in the west dont wana marry here in the west to desi girls.Doesnt that means that they dont even trust their own "sisters" character who were also bought up here.Like two people of the same family have conflicting views....!....strange......!

Actually, I find its the opposite.
And whats wrong with going out, that's how I met my wife.
Admitedly that was a long time ago, but some guys and girls were up "no good" then as well. Most of them now have long beards and the women wear jilbab. Trust me, this is a teenage thing.
