Pakistani Forces In Iraq

I heard the US appealed Pakistani, Morrocan and… one more govt. (I forgot the name) to send their troops to help them “make peace” in Iraq. So does anyone know Pakistan govt’s reaction on this? Is Pakistan sending out their troops?

I really hope not. After all the “heroism” US soldiers have shown, it would be a dumb idea to accept US’s appeal. This seems to be an effort to make Pakistani govt. look bad to rest of the world. Ofcourse, Pakistan doesnt want to give world a feeling that it supported or encouraged US govt’s stupidites in Iraq’s issue.

I think it is important that we as pakistani's understand the importance of peace and love and harmony. we should go and make love to our irqi brothers and sisters.

I think the Pakistani Army and administration should first do the same at home and then go to Iraq.

Yeah but what's Pakistan govt's reaction? What is their response? Yeah definitely, first they need to keep peace at home rather than listening to such idiotic US whims.

Pakistan has already stated serveral months ago that it will not send troops to occupy Iraq for the Coalition.

Thankssssss God.... I hope they dont change their mind after recent requests from the US govt.

Oh it feels better, thank you.

So why this useless thread then ?

Pakistan is not / will not / should not send its forces to Iraq..its not our war......2ndly Iraqis love killing Pakistanis,,, Check your History and facts,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

no Iraq has never in its history ever invaded 'pakistan'. get YOUR facts right.

  1. We as muslims have a duty help Iraqi people. And as we are the defenders of Islam and a muslim power in the making . we should act in accordance with our goals.

  2. Our troops are the best in the world, so i think we can help save lives. even if they are of us troops. I think we, as a grwoing regional power we should help iraqi people.

"help"............................. it starts at home.

Secondly, what kind of help do you think Iraqi people have been receiving from US roops already? Can you enlighten me?

Invasion ,,,what Invasion ?
Are you for real or what,,,asking me to get my facts right ?
Well serves you right for not knowing ,,and I'm not about to educate you
,,,,,,
We as muslims have far more important duty and that is to identify/find/eliminate the enemy. And today that enemy is at our own
threshold and not in Iraq ,or USA .. shed your stupid fundamantilism as you portraited in yr post ,,educate your self , do Jihad at home for yr family welfare first and then see where the life takes,,,, I hate Iraq but I feel sorry for the women and children who are raised under this misconception.

EXACTLY! ... and that enemy has been identified to be ISRAEL and in broader sense USA. We dont need to find them, i can help you locate it on the map. Now all we need is to act together and eliminate the enemy.

I agree that the enemy is Israel but how can we eliminate this GIANT Israel which was created at the fall of Khalifah.

We will only defeat this enemy when our Khilifah is restored and when we realise the strength of our enemy - the Zionist state of Israel.

Lets go back in history to see the last stage of the Zionist movement which started in 1897.
A UN decision was a major Zionist victory, because it affirmed the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine, a point bitterly and violently opposed by the Arabs. Shocked and angry, the Arab leaders refused to recognize the validity of the UN decision and declared their determination to oppose it by force.Early in 1948 the Arab countries dispatched troops and aid to help the Palestinian Arabs, but they were defeated by the Zionist forces. By May 13 the Jewish forces had secured full control of the Jewish share of Palestine and captured important positions in the areas allotted to the Arabs.

On May 14 the State of Israel was proclaimed and was immediately recognized by the Soviet Union and the United States. On the following day, as the British announced the end of their mandate in Palestine, troops of the Transjordanian army, the Arab Legion, and their counterparts from Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq entered the country. The Arab forces, which at this point were vastly better equipped than the Israeli forces, occupied the areas in the south and east, which were not yet controlled by the Jews, and unsuccessfully laid siege to Jewish Jerusalem. Thus on May 14, 1948, the State of Israel was born in war.

One point this misses was that whilst the Arab armies were by and large green and inexperienced, Israel's army and air force in 1948 benefitted from thousands battle-hardened and experienced Jewish veterans of World War 2, who had served in several Allied armies and who, in some cases, had up to 6 years of continuous combat service.

The Arab armies were also furthered hindered by the fact that virtually none of their generals had ever seen combat before, so did not know what it was like, whereas Israel's generals had been officers in World War 2 and better understood how to manage combat through their own experience.

Plus, the arabs are better at fighting with each other than the Jews.

There isn't going to be any peace in Iraq. Not under occupation. The only way Pakistani forces should go in is under command of the UN.

This is the point. They are busy killing each other. They are so selfish, greedy. They cant accept success of their own brother at a small scale (Pakistanis included) and try to cut him / her down, what the fu*k would they fight against enemies.

No troops for Iraq, Pakistan tells US

From Shaiq Hussain
ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Wednesday told the visiting US Assistant Secretary of State Christina Rocca that it could deploy its troops in Iraq only after a UN request in this regard, sources told The Nation.
Christina Rocca discussed with Pakistani officials the latest Iraqi situation and other significant issues with Bush administration reiterating its request for Pakistani troops deployment in the Gulf state, sources said.
“The US request about the deployment of Pakistani troops in Iraq for the protection of UN missions was made by the visiting US Assistant Secretary of State during her meeting with President General Pervez Musharraf on Wednesday,” sources said.
Nonetheless, President Musharraf expressed Islamabad’s inability to accept the US request unless and until similar appeal, in this regard, was made by the United Nations, they said.
President Musharraf said that after the UN request, Islamabad would consider the issue but even then any decision would be made while keeping in view the ground situation including the security conditions in the Gulf state, a source said.
