The min reason is that we didnt invest money inresearch, but also because we were too busy getting the technology delivered right to our door. But the major reason is that to develop this type of technology you need co-operation and exchange of information and lots of funds, perhaps we had neither until a few years back.

So in the next 50 years, Pakistan will be manufacturing it's own jets?

Who will supply Pakistan, the military hardware that Pakistan is now so dependent on when Chinese government is toppled like the Soviet Union?

Pakistan was dependant on the West in the 50s and early 60s for all it's military hardware. As soon as they stopped this transfer, Pakistan saw the effects in 1971.

Same thing will happen again in the future if Pakistanis cling onto the Chinese like they are now.
