I am seeing a lot of pakistani fashion blogs pop up all over the place. Here’s a list of ones I regularly follow.
**Style Striped: **Probably the oldest fashion blog. They had this whole war with Sara Taseer and relaunched themselves. I personally liked them when they were more honest in their critique of designers. Style Stripped - Pakistan’s Premier Fashion and Style Portal.
Something Haute: Owned by Amna Haider Isani. She covers pretty much all fashion events in pakistan.Enjoy her coverage though i feel like she sometimes just @$$ kisses all the big names, like she recently raved about freiha Altaf’s disasterous outfit something HAUTE | Everything about Pakistan’s fashion industry…and possibly more!
**
Style on Paper:** Just recently discovered this and am loving it so far. Style On Paper
Fashion Central: This has been around for some time. The articles aren’t the best but they post high res pictures of any and every fashion shoot/show/event. so i love browsing it for pictures of the latest fashions.www.fashioncentral.com/
** I discovered the four blogs below through Labels e store. The one suspicious thing is that they advertise Labels a little too much and some of their posts are exactly the same. for example they all did a “review” of Nida Azwer’s winter collection in which all the pix were exactly and were hyperlinked to the Labels e store. Maybe they are paid bloggers*
There's quite a bit of redundancy in the blogs--same girls are fashionistas, same outfits are shown again and again, and the same parties as well.
Would love to see more diversity in dresses they show--more street style/a mixture of high and low--not the same old "louboutins, Hermes Birkins...... Pak fashion definitely needs INDIVIDUALITY these days...
I agree with BR, these girls are a bunch of friends that blog. I have never read/seen anything that I could say 'wow' too and yes regarding Freiha's outfit.. calling a hideous outfit 'hot'? I feel they speak about the same designers, have the same fashion sense, there's nothing aimed at the common 'middle-class'. Their hauls are all Louboutins, Chanel, YSL which the regular readers can't even find in Pakistan.
me and a friend actually started a blog recently so i'd like to share it with you girls. we cover everything desi to non-desi. check it out! i'd actually like to hear what you guys think of it! :)
There are posts related to pakistani clothing and bridal accessries and makeup too ! I didnt know they are not considered as in " pakistani fashion''''
Feel free to remove my link dear If you think its not falling in the catogory.
