"Pakistani Executed"

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

^^ Many of these drug smugglers need money to feed their families and put a roof over their heads

so they ready to look past the dangers to help their families

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

these are not the only people who need to support their families back home, there are laborers who make an honest living by working 8 hours in the scorching sun everyday and send whatever money the make back home.

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

Can you eloborate... i am curious..
thanks

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

hmmmm so now its govt responsibility to tell ppl. dont sell drugs, dont steal, dont smuggle?

What about these people's family and community? Do families not tell their children right from wrong? Are they selfish, or just incompetent.

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

If that were the case, our country would not be the way it is right now and yes if our ppl dont realise the consequences of drug smuggling the govt should tell them about it, its for their own good too, doesnt help a country's repuation when so many of its citizens get caught for illegal activities

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

desis reputation in middle east got trashed in the 80s anyways..ab kon salvage karay ga :)

and its not that people dont know its wrong, the choose to do it fully knowing its wrong. so its les of departing knowledge but of upbringing and instilling values and morals. Something that ppl are lacking in from what it seems

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

^^ Wait a minute, were you not in Saudi in 80's along with some other paindo I know?

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

agree with the reputation point. how can u instill values and morals into ppl now, the solution to this problem is the solution to all of our problems especially economic

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

apparently the families are sadly lacking in that department and it is pakistani government responsibility, they board on the plane from our country yet somehow they always smuggle the goodies.i smell a rat. y r goodies always caught in saudi and not here? pakistani govt is in no position to inquire the justice handed out since they apparently dont give a hack about their own civilians.

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

just google Saudi + Judicial + System
or Saudi Law ..

You will get all the info you need

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

yup, i was and saw how the reputation that was built by civilized pakistani professionals was trashed by the doh numberi con artists, jahil qaum from pinds and criminals smuggling crap into the country.

PS: yeah azkar and I were in the same school even, I was 2 grades ahead.

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

Saudi Arabia is a nice place to make some quick money
and then get the hell out of there

and also the destination of choice on religious grounds
perform hajj / umrah and then go home in peace

apart from that - it should be treated as a no go area

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

is it really? if u are a us citizen or resident working in KSA u still have to pay US tax, and the hassle of selling or rnting your place here, going there for a few years and coming back is not worth the incremental gain in salary..

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

for pakistanis earning say around 25 / 30 K
if they get an opportunity to go get around 4 or 5K tax free riyals per month
I am talking about the average Engineer or IT guy - Its worth it

I agree with you, For USA/CND citizens, not worth considering - unless they are getting some obnoxiously high salary ... a 2 year contract wont hurt in that case

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

merc,
Youre right, most of the cases are such.

And this brings the govt and our social setup and upbringing even more into questionable limelight.
Like some guys above have said, the values taught at homes, the responsibility of the govts to keep an eye on trafficking and related trends, as well as monitoring plight of those Pakistanis involved in foreign countries ought to be given weightage.
There's powerful ppl behind wherever there are drugs. They execute our ppl in bulk, should we have a right to ask them who they're caught taking the stuff to...? Do they think executing mere transporters who live their lives below poverty level and end up dying by the sword in hopes of a better life for them and their families puts an end to or eradicates the menace from the land...?

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

Holy crap! SAIS?
I didnt know Azkar bhai was also an SAIS ka maara :D

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

A lot of them Afghans use Pakistani passports to go to the Middle East and then do bad things and give us Pakistanis a bad name.

Not to say Pakis are angels... Whoever they are they deserve it, it's self inflicted, I've no sympathy for them.

Re: “Pakistani Executed”

More Pakistani beheadings in KSA during 2007.
In addition to these as usual there are loads of other Saudi, Iraqi, Kuwaiti, Afghani, Bangladeshi, SriLankan, Nigeria, Indian etc executions in the Kingdom so far this year, the rate is a little higher than usual…

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

^two of them were murderers and rest were drug smugglers, what a shame?

Re: "Pakistani Executed"

Why can't pakistan prosecute saudi murderers and terrorists that come and settle in Pakistan and destroy our people, our country? Why do we allow every xyz to enter our country and do all the crap they want?
